made the trip to Helena to pick up our special order window from Home Depot. While Butte has many great hardware stores, it is lacking a big box hardware store. Occassionally its worth making the trip to Missula, Helena, or Bozeman when making large purchases of things like windows. $300+ from local supplier in Butte, $173 @ home depot. So we picked up the front window for the waiting/storage room.
The existing window has no glass, & while it is casedout nicely the actual frame its self is probally over 100 years old. & not in very good condidtion.
The new window will actually open. & serve as a chute for packages to be slid thru, into the staging area for UPS Pickups.
Also we selected & priced out the twelve 42"x76" windows that face the front of the building. EXPENSIVE! but close to budget.
Spent the day in Helena visiting with freinds Craig & keeley, Whent "Folfing" (Frizbee golfing) & had lunch at one of the best sandwich places ever!
